Bien sûr, Yvonne Lefébure et Vlado Perlemuter sont passés par là, avec comme point d’ancrage « Thème et variations ». Aline Piboule, elle, navigue entre Barcarolles et Nocturnes avec, en ouverture de rideau, cette Improvisation qui amorce cet extraordinaire voyage. Car ce parcours est magnifique. Avec quelle intelligence rare, intelligence musicale, harmonique, elle enchaîne les œuvres. Ce n’est pas une succession de morceaux choisis au hasard. Il y a une logique. D’abord ne pas jouer les tubes, les standards. Pas de 4ème nocturne, pas de sixième, pas de première Barcarolle. Ut dièse mineur, fa dièse mineur. Elle utilise le cercle des quintes. Et Aline Piboule continue dans le rapport des tonalités, fa dièse mineur, fa dièse majeur. De fa dièse elle passe à sol bémol l’enharmonique. Ce qui fait que l’on aura une fluidité, une continuité durant tout ce voyage. Et puis l’instrument. C’est un magnifique piano Gaveau de 1929 lequel a été restauré pour la circonstance. Donc un piano que Fauré connaissait, du moins la marque. Et Aline, va aller très loin dans l’expression, avec cet instrument, au niveau des couleurs, au niveau de l’engagement chose qu’elle ne pourrait se permettre avec un instrument moderne. Et on aura de la sorte une image assez proche de comment la musique de Fauré pouvait sonner à son époque. Son interprétation du onzième Nocturne me bouleverse. C’est une plainte, une plainte harmonique, mélodique. Elle retient, elle avance, elle suspend, elle joue sur les tensions et les détentes. C’est vécu de l’intérieur, avec une sensibilité, une intimité dans sa forme la plus pure. Elle nous prend par la main, elle nous enveloppe. On est dans les tréfonds de l’âme humaine. J’ai beaucoup d’attachement pour cette pianiste, laquelle rejoint selon moi les Lefébure, Perlemuter, Thyssens-Valentin, et &.
