Comme elle l'explique aux chauffeurs, elle n'a pas de permis de conduire, elle qui vient des Pays-Bas et qui, comme beaucoup de néerlandais, se déplace essentiellement à vélo. Dans Taxi !, la jeune autrice se met en images au cours de quatre courses qui l'ont marquée. Un découpage efficace permet à la dessinatrice d'accentuer les moments de circulation et de dialogues.
