C'est le fruit d'une collaboration, d'un partenariat d'associations même avec l'université de Strasbourg. Mais le point d'orgue de ce programme d'accompagnement se tiendra en juin dans le cadre d'un symposium international. C'est une exposition qui n'est pas figée parce que dans un monde idéal, à la fin de l'exposition, le 15 mai, elles devraient avoir retrouvé leurs légitimes propriétaires. Ça, c'est c'est un peu utopique puisque depuis qu'ils nous ont confié la situation absolument inchangée, alors que d'autres œuvres classées MNR ont pu retrouver leurs propriétaires depuis 1950. Il y a eu le projet personnel de Hitler, pour un musée un peu mégalomane qui devait se tenir et qui devait être créé à Linz. Et puis, la collection particulière de Goering qui était manifestement un très grand collectionneur. Donc, dans nos œuvres confiées au musée de la ville de Strasbourg, quatre œuvres étaient dans sa collection, dont un chef-d'œuvre absolu, un tableau de Lucas de Leyde, Les Fiancés, qui est un des joyaux de la collection du musée des Beaux-Arts.
